On Wednesday 16th September 2020 I decided to head off for a night of wild camping in the Galloway Forest Park in South West Scotland. WERE all in lockdown in an effort to beat coronavirus but one community in South West Scotland has been on the verge of Loch Doon for centuries.

I started writing this as a post about startrail photography but my verbosity got the better of me and I ended up at about 2000 words mostly describing the trip.
